What People Are Saying
“Absolutely the place to go for any type of functional rehab, prehab, and overall body therapy.”
— Ben
“Dr. Mark Murdoch is much more than your average rack 'em crack 'em Chiropractor. I went to see Mark to do a couple of movement assessments one of which was for a half marathon obstacle course race that I am training for. I have little to no running experience and a problematic knee. Dr. Mark was able to assess my areas of weakness and get me on track with some useful tips going into my training.”
— Cassandra
“The program is excellent and I got all that I was hoping for plus more! I feel stronger and prepared to hit pavement or dirt without injury”
— Jessica

FAQs
What is an appointment like?
Our first session is an assessment which typically takes about an hour. In the assessment, we have an in-depth discussion to discover the root causes of your injury and confirm this with a detailed movement exam before we outline a comprehensive treatment plan. Our follow-up sessions are 30-60 minutes long. During these sessions, we will have enough time to recap what has occurred since the previous session, re-evaluate any movements, progress your treatment plan and exercise program, and provide you with the next steps in your recovery.
Do I need to be a high-level athlete to work with Base Camp?
No!
At Base Camp, we believe if you have a body, you’re an athlete, and you should work on your body. We see patients with sports injuries, headaches, pregnancy pain, and arthritis. You don’t need to be a high-level athlete to take care of and work on your body.o

Why longer appointments?
We value your time. Instead of coming back to our office several times per week, we spend more time answering your questions and working directly with you to aid in your recovery. We want you to feel confident in understanding your body and how to reach your goals.
We designed a style of treatment that we want for our own care!
what should i wear?
It is important to wear loose clothing that you might wear to a gym. We do soft tissue work on most patients and this style of dress makes that work much more comfortable for you. At BCSS, we believe that movement, training, and loading during your appointment is necessary so that you can develop preparedness to engage in what you love and reduce the risk of your injury coming back.
Do I need a referral for chiropractic?
Nope. You can come see us whenever you want.
Does insurance cover chiropractic services?
Insurance coverage for chiropractic care will depend on your specific plan. Typically your insurance company will cover a portion of care or a specific dollar amount.
How do I know if my issue is ‘bad enough’ to see a Chiropractor? I don’t want to waste anyone’s time
No issue is too small or insignificant. The truth is if it is interrupting your lifestyle in any way or you are feeling uncertain about what is going on, then there is value in getting an assessment to gain confidence in the diagnosis and have a detailed management plan. We advocate for this proactive approach because issues left to linger tend to become more complex with time. REMEMBER! We offer FREE 15-minute consults.
